hotel review: Al Ponte Mocenigo |
Al Ponte Mocenigo Hotel Venice, Italy is a ten plush room hotel in the vicinity of the Rialto Bridge. Al Ponte Mocenigo, restored two-story building modern with traditional beauty is a pleasant place to stay. The service and cleanliness was impeccable. Hidden among a lived in neighborhood this hotel is easily accessible from the vaporetto.
Let Venice be your next big adventure to this magical floating city. Walk the same streets where the great master artists have walked. Feel the culture, see the art, and eat some fabulous food. My research started with TripAdvisor and Lonely Planet where I found some of the best places of interest to visit. Join me as I explore this city while staying at this amazing hotel.
VeniceUNESCO World Heritage site with it’s lagoon situated in the Veneto northeast region. See how it is shaped like a large fish with the Grand Canal that winds through the middle. The Grand Canal starts at the mouth of the fish passing under the Rialto Bridge, and ends at St. Mark’s Church.
St. Mark’s Square is only a 15 min by walk or vaporetto. Free Wifi but go out to visit the quite cobble stone streets and be surprised at every turn. Museums, quaint Restaurants and Shops around every corner. Hotel Al Ponte Mocenigo is located behind the San Stae Church. Remember the Vaporetto is close by to hop on and off to all your destinations.

Hi Stephanie,
Italy is on our list for Europe too! We had hoped to go to both Italy and Greece this summer but it was too many airplane rides for a short period of time. The hotel looks lovely!

HI Gennifer,
The Hotel is wonderful in the back alleys of Venice. Gives it a mysterious feel. I hope you make it to Italy someday. It is one of my favorite places to visit. I was there a month so please come back and see more posts on Italy shortly. That is once I finish editing my photos. Also look for another recommended hotel on the canal posted later. Happy Travels!
